However everytime I try to connect to the program it comes up with the same error message.

(I also have the Verizon Essentials program that I downloaded, but I like WMP better. No particular reason).
I was getting the installation messages and as soon as the MTP message came up, I got the 'problem' message and it didn't sync.What I did when I got the cable was to run the CD drivers that came with my cable. That may have been my mistake. I was bothered that the date of my driver was in 2005 since the phone came out late in 2006.So I looked at the name of the driver and it was something like C: Windows System32 Drivers LGUSBDriver.xxx whatever. I went to my device manager and uninstalled the driver.I went to the C: Program Files and deleted the LG USBDrivers folder. I went to the Windows/system32/drivers folder and there were three LG. files I deleted them. The next time I plugged the phone in and set it to sync, it worked.

Anyway what you may need to do is Install the software ALL the software drivers, install.exe, and actually running it, as Administrator in Compatibility Mode for XP SP 2. HI has any one got any way of making a zte t55 work in windows 10 as a modem it worked /works fine under windows home server 2011 to use the join me software that comes with it to dial a modem connection. IN Windows 10 there is no way to dial the modemI get error 31 and before anyone asks I have tried all the compatibility setting so make the program work there seems to be a hardware issue with the driver and yes i have unchecked driver sign.
