And its members.We are getting a new website that should be up and running by the end of March or sooner (fingers crossed lol).We are not going to be doing half of our meetings off site. Yes, you heard right, off site, as in not in our usual meeting hall.We have been discussing for a long time the need to take things outdoors. We live on an island full of wonderful eco systems that offer many speci.

It is time that we get back to our roots and start exploring the contents of our home, Long Island.The meetings that are held at our normal location (conference room at SUNY Farmingdale) will still be open to the public however, our off site excursion/meetings will only be open to members that are paid up to date. We have to do this for insurance reasons, sorry.We will still be having our annual Christmas party, our annual Auction and this year we will be getting together over the summer for a club get together which will either be a barbeque or a sit down dinner some where. We have not decided yet but we will keep y'all posted;). Fans with regards to our meetings.For starters our next meeting is Sunday February 24th 2019 @ 1pm @ Farmingdale University. Meeting is until 4pm but may end sooner.Meeting is open to the public and we will be discussing the future of L.I.H.S. Meetings.We have discussed in the past about having more outings and we have decided to take our meetings outdoors, on excursions. To start out we will be doing every other scheduled meetin. G off site and every other inbetween at our usual meeting place @ Farmingdale University.
We will still be having our annual Auction (June) and our annual Christmas party as always.We feel that these excursions are what everyone has been looking for in the past and they will be educational, fun and great opportunities for our photography enthusiasts.Meetings at the conference center at the university will be open to the public as always but our meetings/excursions held off site will be for paid members only.
